DESCRIPTION:From the second year of their doctoral training onward\, candi
 dates are encouraged to attend at least one internationally recognized con
 ference per year to engage with the broader scientific community. Funding 
 should primarily be provided from the group budget.\nIf conference attenda
 nce is not possible due to limited funding\, LGSA members may apply for a 
 travel allowance (probably up to €400) to attend one internationally rec
 ognized conference\, provided they present a poster or oral presentation. 
 Applicants must demonstrate that they have exhausted all available opportu
 nities to secure travel funding from alternative sources\, e.g. from the m
