BERD@NDFI is the NFDI Consortium for Business, Economic and Related Data. The goal of the Consortium is to empower researchers in the fields of the economic and social sciences with the tools and services needed to harness the full potential of data, while focusing on unstructured data, such as images, videos, audio, and text files. From data collection and indexing to processing, analysing, and preservation, the services of BERD are designed to give support at every step of the entire data lifecycle.
These include among others, Data Portal, Research Data Market Place, Generative AI Directory, OCR Services, and Knowledge Graph Infrastructure.
Our poster will provide a comprehensive overview of these services while giving special attention to the Legal Assistance Service, providing essential tools and guidance for researchers to help them manage legal concerns, and the BERD Academy, which offers courses, workshops and learning materials on data science and data management in relation to core subjects of the Consortium.
