Description
NFDI4Microbiota (the German National Research Data Infrastructure for Microbiota Research) is dedicated to supporting microbiologists with data access, analysis services, data and metadata standards, and training. The consortium's Helpdesk serves as a single point of contact for the German microbiology research community for all questions related to microbial (omics) data and associated metadata. We welcome questions from anyone - students, researchers, data stewards and others - working with microbial data, regardless of organism (bacteria, archaea, eukaryotic microorganisms, viruses), environment (soil, plants, host-associated and water) or data type (e.g. nucleic acid sequences, functional genomics, image data, proteins).
Here we present the Helpdesk workflow for connecting microbiologists with NFDI4Microbiota experts, as well as some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) and their answers.
By streamlining access to support and key information resources, NFDI4Microbiota enables microbiologists to make their research more efficient, reproducible and collaborative.
