Your deployment on the USS Data Steward is now in force. This is your first day - welcome to the crew! To enable a smooth onboarding, your more experienced colleagues have prepared this manual with eight recommendations for your first months on the job.
When making the career switch to a data steward*ess (be it from research or from another position in the library/RDM environment), you might wonder where to start and what to consider. This poster offers recommendations based on three years’ experience as a data stewardess serving a large humanities faculty at a large university (and a much longer experience as a Trekkie).
