Description
The "Collaborative Research Center 1456 - Mathematics of Experiment" (CRC 1456) aims at the development of mathematical theory and tools to extract maximal information from data acquired in experimental research in natural sciences. This project is aligned with Open Science ideals, which puts its infrastructure subproject (INF) under the mission of promoting such principles throughout other subprojects. The INF project works primarily under three fronts: research data management (RDM) support, research dissemination, and training on RDM-relevant topics.
Such effort yielded fruitful outcomes such as the development of a platform for research dissemination: LiveDocs. LiveDocs is an initiative of the CRC 1456 on tackling common issues of reproducibility and re-usability in scientific publications. LiveDocs is proposed as a concept alongside a collection of methods that enable scientists to provide research findings under an interactive development environment, allowing users from a broader audience to easily reproduce research findings by re-running scripts pertaining to a publication under such environment. This approach lowers the barriers to access and comprehend research methods and findings, which facilitates scientific exchange and fosters knowledge advancement.
In this poster, readers will be presented with an in-depth visualization on LiveDocs and some LiveDocs showcases.
