Who Should Submit a Poster?

All PhD students, Postdocs, Master's students with approved travel stipends and Core Facility Managers are encouraged to present their latest research during the FLI Retreat Poster Sessions.

How to Submit?

1. Indicate your interest to submit a poster in the registration to the event until March 29, 11:59 pm.

2. Shortly after registration closes you will then receive a registration link to submit the title of your poster for the agenda and you can optionally upload your poster file for printing until April 23.

📅  Deadline: 29 March 2026, 11:59 PM (Click here to go to the registration for the event)

📅  Deadline: 23 April 2026, 11:59 PM (A registration link to submit your poster details will be sent to you shortly after the initial registration period for the event ends.)

Poster Guidelines

Poster will be presented on a single board in PORTRAIT orientation in ISO A0 size (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm).

Please use the templates for poster presentations provided on the event registration page.

NOTE: Printing of posters is covered by FLI core budget as long as the file for printing is submitted within deadline (April 23).

The print shop has asked us to submit the posters in bulk by the deadline. Sending the posters for printing together is more organized for the print shop, and therefore, it will be more cost-effective. If you wish to print your poster individually, please note that you need to speak to your group leader, as the cost of a single, more expensive, poster will then need to be covered by the respective group budget.

Organization of Poster Sessions

There will be two poster sessions, each lasting two hours. Your poster presentation will be scheduled in one of these sessions:

This year's retreat poster sessions are again divided into two parts. The odd-numbered posters will present during the first hour of each session, while the even-numbered posters will present during the last hour. This format allows presenters in one session the opportunity to view the other posters in their session, and it helps reduce noise since not everyone will be presenting at the same time. There will be a signal after one hour to indicate the change from odd to even numbers, so please stay tuned for that.

About a week before the retreat begins, you will find all the details on this page, including the complete poster schedule for all presentations, your assigned number, your specific presentation time, and a floor plan indicating where you can set up your poster.
