LGSA Travel Grants 2026

From the second year of their doctoral training onward, candidates are encouraged to attend at least one internationally recognized conference per year to engage with the broader scientific community. Funding should primarily be provided from the group budget.

If conference attendance is not possible due to limited funding, LGSA members may apply for a travel allowance (probably up to €400) to attend one internationally recognized conference, provided they present a poster or oral presentation. Applicants must demonstrate that they have exhausted all available opportunities to secure travel funding from alternative sources, e.g. from the meeting organizers.
